MEET YOUR FACILITATOR
 Jonathan Romero is a graduate student at Bowie State University, currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. With three years of direct care experience in the Behavioral Health field prior to graduate school, Mr. Romero brings practical knowledge and expertise to his studies. Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, he is a licensed barber, balancing his work, education, and entrepreneurial interests.
Jonathan’s research interests focus on stress, trauma, and coping mechanisms within the Black community, as well as exploring the role of collective consciousness and mythology in understanding the psyche. He is also intrigued by the intersection of divination systems and psychology. His hobbies include conducting supplemental research in metaphysics, listening to music, and exercising.
His long-term goals include obtaining his LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) credential, establishing a successful entrepreneurial career, and using his research skills to deepen the understanding of both the conscious and unconscious mind.
